Ordering on MYDAWA is simple. Using a phone, computer or any internet-enabled device you have access to thousands of products through the website MYDAWA.com we also have an Android app and an iOS app you can use
Once you are on the website, register with your name, your cell phone number, email address, and come up with a password. You will get an SMS with a four-digit code that you will use to confirm and complete registration. You do this by entering the four-digit code on the website or app and clicking the “Verify” button.
Log in with your telephone number and your chosen password. Search for the products you need using the search bar at the top or browse the product categories you are interested in. Choose the products you need and click on the pink add to cart button to add it to your cart. You can click on the product to read more information about it like its ingredients, how to use it and any precautions.
Ordering Prescription Medication
If you need prescription medication, click on the “upload prescription” button, choose whether you will be paying with insurance or self-pay. If paying with insurance, select your provider and enter your member number. You can order medication for yourself or your dependents.
Take a picture of your prescription with your phone or upload a scanned image or pdf of it. A qualified professional will review your prescription and add your products automatically to your cart ready for checkout. You will get an SMS confirmation when your products are ready.
If you have a coupon code, please enter it into the box provided and click apply, your discount will automatically be removed from your total cart price. When you are ready to complete your order, click the green checkout button. Proceed to add where you want the delivery made. You can select your home or office or any other convenient location within Kenya. Orders within Nairobi take 4 hours to be delivered, those going upcountry are fulfilled within 24 hours.
How to Pay
Choose a convenient payment method from MPESA, Visa or Mastercard or Eazzy Pay or Umba loan pay. You can even use your Safaricom Bonga points. We have zero payment charges so you only pay for your products. Your delivery fee will be calculated here for upcountry orders. You will receive a confirmation of your order via SMS with a unique order number.
If you have ordered a prescription product, a pharmaceutical technologist will deliver your products to you. They will explain how to use your medication and answer any questions that you might have regarding your prescription. Remember to have your original prescription ready in order to verify it. If you are paying with insurance, have your claim form and insurance card ready to run biometrics.
