How do you register on MYDAWA?
Registering on MYDAWA is easy and quick. All you need is an active cell phone number. Visit MYDAWA.com/register or download the mobile app on your Android or iOS device and click on the register button. Fill in your details on the following page. All the information we collect is only used to process your orders and to improve the quality of service that we offer you. Once you have finished you will receive an SMS on your cellphone with a 4 digit code which is your one-time password (OTP). Enter this code onto the website or app to verify your registration and your account is ready.
Using your health insurance to pay for a prescription
To order prescription medication from MYDAWA:
- Click on the Upload Prescription button.
- Select your health insurance provider and enter your member number.
- Click on the upload prescription button and take a photo of your prescription or attach a clear scan of it. Also, attach a filled copy of your insurance claim form.
- A qualified healthcare professional will review your prescription and add your products to your cart. You will receive a confirmation text with a link to complete your order.
- Add where you want the order delivered and click on confirm the order. You will get an SMS with an order number.
- A registered health professional will process, dispatch and deliver your order to you. They will run your SMART insurance card. Please have your original prescription available for verification.
