Over the last few years, players in the e-commerce industry have been working tirelessly to provide Kenyans with convenient solutions that match their needs. MYDAWA, Kenya’s first online pharmacy, has been at the forefront of this with its groundbreaking technological innovations that give Kenyans access to a wide range of quality and affordable medication, and health and wellness products.
In keeping with its vision of creating better health outcomes for all Kenyans, MYDAWA continually strives to improve its service delivery for the benefit of its customers. In line with these efforts, MYDAWA has therefore increased its internal delivery capacity by hiring 6 new full-time riding delivery staff. Drone Makori, the first of the six new riders hired, joins a team of over 30 dedicated riders working tirelessly to ensure over 1,000 packages are delivered across Nairobi daily.
During an early morning management call, MYDAWA MD Tony Wood said, “We believe that with the addition of deliveries by Drone, there will be a massive impact on customer satisfaction.”
The announcement paves the way for further improvements such as deliveries by Faith and deliveries by Clairvoyance both of whom are currently going through the MYDAWA rider training programme.
When reached out to for comment, Drone Makori said, “Me, I am just so happy to be part of this team. You can really feel people smiling when you call them and say, ‘Niko hapa kwa gate, ati ni namba gani tena?“
